I am a Texas Licensed Massage Therapist. I am a Certified Trigger Point Therapist and an Internationally Certified Neuromuscular Therapist as well. I have had my private practice for about 10 years and I received my education in Colorado. I have 1150 hours of education from the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and well over 150 hr of continuing education. I worked for 2+ years with 2 different Chiropractors, one in Colorado and one here in the Austin area. I have had clients who have been injured involving sports injuries, car accidents and work place injuries. I have had several clients who had fibromyalgia. I have done geriatric massage and worked on many children and infants as well.
I practice a variety of modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Neuromuscular Therapy and have had excellent results helping my clients regain full range of motion, less pain and stress, and basically an overall improvment in health.
I have practiced corporate chair massage for about 8 yrs and have had very good results with clients who have a great amount of work place stress. The chair massages relieve their stress and help with pain in the tight muscles in the arms, hands, neck and shoulder areas and also decrease sick days and improve productivity.
I believe Massage Therapy is an integrel part of a wellness program and should be part of everyone's life. I believe that massage is giving your body a tool to maintain healthy muscles and keep stress levels low so that you can function at your job and play at optimum performance.
